For cold and warm drinks only. Merrono states that boiling water can be poured in directly; we do not recommend it, because food-grade PP softens close to 100C. Let hot liquids cool before filling.

A push tap means you never lift it. It sits in the fridge and a glass pressed against the tap fills itself, which matters most when you are serving a table of people and the alternative is carrying a full 3.5 litre jug back and forth.
