Merrono's description claims the LEDs emit CO2 to attract mosquitoes. LEDs cannot emit CO2, so we do not repeat that claim - this lamp works by UV light attraction plus a fan trap. Empty and clean the trap regularly.

There is no high-voltage grid in this one - a fan draws the insects down into a removable trap instead. That is the whole reason to choose it for a child's room: nothing inside it can give a shock, and there is no snapping noise through the night.
