TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

WATCH CARE AND WATER RESISTANCE GUIDE

• 3 ATM, 3 bar and 30m all mean the same rating: protection from splashes and rain only, not swimming.
• 5 ATM (50m) copes with everyday handwashing; about 100m is the minimum for swimming. Even then, avoid hot water, soap and steam, which can damage seals.
• Keep leather straps dry and wipe metal bracelets with a soft cloth.

CLASP GUIDE

• A butterfly (double push-button deployant) clasp opens in the middle like wings. It sits flat on the wrist, stays securely closed and hides the buckle for a clean look.
• To open it, press the buttons on both sides, slip your wrist through, then press both wings closed until they click.

BATTERY GUIDE

• Most quartz watch batteries last about 1 to 3 years. Digital and multi-function watches often need a change closer to every 12 to 18 months.
• Signs of a weak battery: the second hand jumps in 4-second steps, the watch runs slow, or the display dims. Replace a flat battery promptly, because a dead battery can leak and damage the movement.
