A macrame swing turns an ordinary corner of a balcony or living room into somewhere people actually want to sit. This one is hand-knotted in cotton around a solid iron ring, in a soft off-white that works against both painted walls and exposed brick - and because each piece is made by hand to order, no two are quite identical.

AT A GLANCE

• Hand-knotted cotton macrame on an iron support ring
• Ring sizes: 25, 20 and 10 inch
• Off-white colourway suits most interiors
• Made to order - approximately 10 days to craft and deliver

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT

• Genuinely Handmade: Each swing is knotted by hand rather than machine-produced, which is why the texture has depth and why it takes ten days rather than shipping from a shelf.
• Built Around a Real Frame: An iron ring carries the load rather than the cordage alone, giving the seat its shape and its strength.
• Natural Cotton: Cotton cord is soft against skin, holds knots cleanly and ages into a softer texture rather than looking worn out.
• A Neutral That Works Anywhere: Off-white sits comfortably against colour, wood and brick, so it doesn't dictate the rest of the room's palette.
• Indoor or Sheltered Outdoor: Equally at home on a covered balcony, in a reading corner or on a veranda out of direct weather.
• Mattress Sold Separately: The swing is supplied without a mattress, so you can pair it with a cushion that matches your own room rather than one chosen for you.
